• We’re looking for a data engineer to help develop and maintain our data environment.

• The successful candidate will be involved with data ingestion, security, storage, transformations, database design, governance, performance, and data architecture.

• You will liaise closely with internal and external organisations on data governance and data management decisions.

• The role involves supporting the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)

• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.

• Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance.

• Ensure new, and legacy applications meet quality standards.

• Integrate new data sources.

• Maintain the data catalogue.

• Build effective data pipelines.

• Identify additional data sources.

• Stay up to date with new technology trends.

• Engage with users to better understand customer needs and opportunities for improvements.
