About the role

As a Data Monitoring Analyst, your primary responsibility is to monitor data systems, identify anomalies and ensure the integrity and reliability of the integrated data. The person will monitor data systems, analyse data quality, and collaborate with various teams to identify and address issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

  1. Data Monitoring:

o Continuously monitor data systems and repositories to identify and respond to data anomalies, errors, or issues in real-time.

o Communication to stakeholders for the findings of data activities

  1. Data Quality Assurance:

o Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures.

o Identify data quality issues through data cleansing and validation processes.

o Collaborate with data owners and data users to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

o Assist in audits and compliance assessments related to data management.

  1. Data Reporting:

o Generate and distribute regular reports on data quality, data usage, and data-related incidents to stakeholders and management.

  1. Documentation and Documentation Management:

o Maintain comprehensive documentation related to data monitoring procedures, processes, and incident resolutions.

  1. Data Governance:

o Participate in data governance committees and initiatives.

Key Skills

  • Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science or Certified Data Analyst with 2 years of experience (or equivalent work experience with graduation from a renowned institute).
  • Proven experience in data monitoring, data quality management, or data analysis.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices, data quality tools, and data monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
