We’re on the hunt for a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to join our dynamic team. If you’re all about merging business smarts with technical know-how and love being the bridge between business stakeholders and tech wizards, this role is perfect for you. Your main duties will involve diving deep into business processes, working closely with stakeholders, and gathering requirements like a pro. To thrive in this role, you’ll need a combination of strong analytical skills, top-notch communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving. 1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
▪Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
▪Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements.
▪Analyse and evaluate existing systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
2. Business Process Analysis and Design:
▪Map and document current and future state business processes, workflows, and use cases.
▪Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for automation or optimisation.
▪Design and propose solutions that align with business goals, considering technical feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Technical Specification and Documentation:
▪Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications for software development, system integration, or data migration.
▪Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements and provide guidance during implementation.
▪Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, data models, and system architecture diagrams.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
▪Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements and project progress.
▪Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, bridging any gaps in understanding or expectations.
▪Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed and gather feedback.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
▪Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
▪Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, ensuring the software/system meets business needs.
▪Identify and document defects, issues, and risks, and work with the development team to resolve them.
6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
▪Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis.
▪Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or innovation to enhance business operations.
▪Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
▪Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
▪Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
▪Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
▪Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application to requirements gathering and analysis.
▪Proficiency in business analysis tools, techniques, and documentation standards.
▪Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
▪Experience in data analysis, data modelling, and database concepts is a plus.
▪Experienced in Salesforce CRM and MS SQL is a plus
▪Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
▪Certification(s) in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable but not mandatory.
